A before and after photo for my tank that achieved a world rank of 13 in the IAPLC was requested and I’m here to please. This photo was taken just after I filled the tank to check refections. Because I wanted the side reflection on the right to look like a continuation of the slope in the background. But as you can also see, I continued to iterate on the hardscape and reworked the foreground on the left even after planting. I also continued to refine the position of the branches in the negative space and add details throughout the lifespan of the the aquarium. But the basic composition was there at the start. I am considering doing a livestream Q&A session about my experience with this tank. Is that something you`d be interested in?

3자수조 경쟁력이 조금 떨어지는 사이즈라 아쉬운대로 또는 하고싶은대로 출품했습니다. 너무 놀라운 등수라 말이 안나오더라구요.

거기에다가 14위의 위치에서 베스트 심사위원까지 받았으니 너무 너무 행복하네요. 올해로 19년도를 빼고 6번째 출품입니다.
조금씩 등수가 올라서 매년 만족하고있었는데 아마도 내년은 떨어질수밖에 없는 위치네요^^ 4자수조를 해야할까요??

I never scaped this aquarium with thoughts of entering a contest, this photo was taken after two months old before I had to move house. 😅

I wanted to take some photos for tropicaaquariumplants for the website and blogs as they sponsored me fully with soil and plants for this build, so I thought I’d just use them photos for a contest! ✅

I’m not sure if I would be able to aquascape an aquarium entirely just for a contest due to only have one or two aquariums at home! but I’m happy either way with my result! It’s all about fun and enjoying the process ✅
