I just love these Green Rosebuds (Aeonium aureum). I got them as an "extra" in a tray of mixed succulents where the nursery selected what I got. They didn't look too interesting, and I didn't even really know what they were, so I tucked them into the edge of a mixed succulent container. Well, just a few months later, they've grown into these lovely, jade-green rosettes that actually really do look a lot like beautiful green roses. Now I want more of them. Apparently they're members of the Aeonium family, and they're sometimes called Tree Houseleeks. They also apparently don't enjoy bright, direct sunlight, so they might be a god succulent for someone with a lower light growing environment (I have them in my solarium, so they get plenty of light but no direct sunlight. #aeonium #greenaeonium #rosettes #rosetteplants #succulove #succulentinfluencer #succulentobsession #ilovesucculents #easyhouseplants #houseplantsforbeginners #beautifulplants #easysucculents #succulovers #greensucculent #greensucculents #plantgeek #indoorplantsdecor #indoorjungle #indoorjunglebloggers #plantinspiration #plantinfluencer #plantfluencers #plantfluencers #plantfluencersofinstagram #succulentbeginner #succulentbeginners
Echeveria pilosa, a captivating succulent, is known for its exquisite beauty and unique features. This remarkable plant forms compact rosettes of vibrant green leaves, which take on a striking reddish hue at their tips when exposed to full sunlight. The plant's stems are generally erect, reaching heights of up to 3.2 inches (8 cm), and are mostly unbranched, though rare branching can occur. An intriguing characteristic of E. pilosa is the fine white hairs that cover all parts of the plant, creating an appealing and distinct appearance.

During the summer months, Echeveria pilosa graces us with its eye-catching orange-red flowers, each featuring a charming yellow tip. These blossoms are bell-shaped and emerge on leafy stalks that can reach up to 1 foot (30 cm) in height, adding an elegant touch to any garden or collection.

This succulent is often compared to Echeveria coccinea due to its similar appearance, but E. pilosa sets itself apart with its shorter stems and branched flower clusters.
